zziplex profile
Profile arrived on monday. Finally got to give it a cast today.
WOW.
Very thin and light and extremely easy to cast.Casted 3,4,5oz sinkers with extreme ease.
This rod is deceptivly powerful yet looks very responsive and should make a great match rod.
Once again WOW.
I'm sure the wife and kids are getting annoyed at this stage as all I have kept saying for the last 1/2 hour is WOW

I believe it's the same diameter blank as the powertex bass? about 25mm Only trouble I have found with the bass rod is, if your hands are wet/damp while casting your hand can slip!
Maybe it's only me but it's happened on a few occasions while swinging a lead. Kind of embarrassing when your lead is lying at your feet with the rod heading down the beach like an javalin.
Is that a true observation about the diameter?

Glad to see you are enjoying the 3500s Steve. The profile is definatly another notch up.Her indoors says it reminds her of when we first met.I keep talking about it and stroking it gently.(the rod that is :D )
I got the rod on Ebay Mr Green. It had been built at Tonys Tackle as a christmas present. It was advertised new as unwanted and it is pristine.
