Report: Decided to try a couple of rock marks i haven't been to in a while to see if any pollack about. With a southerly forecast i decided to start at Fair head right on the north coast. For any of you who don't know this mark the walk in from Murlough bay has to be done to be believed. Its not the distance more the scrambling over rocks the size of my house. Been a while so I had forgotten how bad it is. Anyway it was obvious on arriving that the wind was a bit more easterly than predicted as it was pretty much staight across. Made fishing difficult. Tried a few marks until the rain arrived. This was accompanied by the wind dropping and veering a bit more northerly. Knew the south side of Torr head would be sheltered so moved. Easier access and not so many slippery rocks. I have had some good days and quite a lot of fish from this mark up to 6 lb but not today.
Some untidy sods who didn't give a damn had obviously been there in the last week or so. Discarded line everywhere.
