#1 Post by Conor C »

People: Gg and I

Duration: about 10am-2pm

tide: HT around 2:30pm

Weather: very windy

Bait: mackerel,rag and sandeels

Rigs: conger rigs,3 hook flappers and a lure

Results: 2 collies

Report we started at garron point mainly fishing for congers but as the wind was bad we decded to pack up and try somewhere else we stoped at the ledges but the wind was bad so we dicided to give redbay pier a go so we fished there for about an hour i got a crab and that was it so we moved round to cushendall boat house we tryed for congers round there but didn't get any but we managed to land 2 collies I caught a 30cm collie on a size 4.0 hook for congers but it was a good day out.

Poor day today mate

The wind was a nightmare to cast into and the Congers had p**sed off to a party somewhere....

Still - at least we didn't blank :D :D :D

Here's a pic of the 30cm Coalie who swallowed a 4/0 hook with 1/3 of a mackeral on it - feedy grucker!!!!!!!
