TOP IRISH TACKLE SITE

#1 Post by JOHN LYNCH »

There is a google ad appearing on this site claiming to be a "Top Irish Tackle Shop". See top left hand side of screen. I clicked on the link which leads to a .co.uk website. The prices are in £sterling. There is practically no information on the site about who these people are which always makes me wounder.

Does anyone know about this "Top Irish Tackle Shop".

I'd agree with you there.

They have a Northern Ireland phone number. If you want more information it may be advisable to send one of the moderators a PM, they are obviously paying to have an add on the site, and as such should be given that courtesy IMHO.

WE use google ads to pay for hosting etc, and I'd guess they have paid google to appear on this site regularly

So they are located in Northern Ireland, that's fair enough. I just could not see where they were located from the website.

I think it is important if people are buying online that they have an idea of who they are dealing with.

Best of luck to them.

I totally agree with this site using google ads to pay for web hosting. The bills have to get paid somehow.

The advert in question is the new site for Belfast Angling Centre.

From what I have heard, its only been launched so no doubt it will take a while to fill it up with details of stock/offers.

Hope that clears up any confusion.
