Hi guys ! I discovered this site some weeks ago and it is really awesome !!!! congratulations
So here is my first newbie contribution: a report of several fishing days during a trip at the end of may 2006.
Sorry because the report is in french, but there's a lot of pictures and videos (all blured because in France we want to keep our spots secrets, to preserve them from poaching). At first the report is about freshwater fishing, but after 2 days we decided to fish only saltwater.

People: Me and a french friend

Duration: 4 days

Tide: all day long so different tide conditions

Weather: bright and shiny, no wind, no swell

Bait: lures (jerkbait, soft plastic and topwater)

Rigs:

Results: tons of pollocks between 2 and 6 lbs!!!! some mackerels, and one wrasse

Catch and Release:: every fish was released excepted a 4 lb pollock

Report: follow ths link: http://seabassfactory.free.fr/fichiers/irlande2006.html

If you want some informations about the report, just ask me !
We hope to go back soon in ireland (september 2007) because your country is a real fishing paradise
See you !

Great report Fonzy - even though it was in French, I can see that you had a great time.

I was surprised that you didn't manage to land a bass considering the areas you were fishing and the types of lures you were using.

Good luck on your next visit to Ireland.

One thing that worries me though - were you two boys on the run from French Police.....

Great pics and great fishing. Tried to run the movies but most of them freeze the computer. I had to stay away from them
I would swear I saw you guys fishing down there last summer. I recognize most of the marks.
ballyvaughan to Doolin is some of my favorite spots.

Well done again

 I hope not !!! that's not a PrisonBreak remake

Movies are sometimes a bit long to run.......just click play and wait 10 or 20 seconds, it should work  if you still have problems viewing the movies, just tell me I'll post the direct links to the movies....

If you're interested by this kind of report, go on the main page, then "fishing reports"........some nice french bass up to 11 lb  (always released.......)

Ant, we were fishing during one week from may 31 to june 6, maybe we saw you too 8) !!

Hope we could meet some of you guys during our next trip, to talk about fishing with a good pint !!! or even for a cool fishing session !!!!
