Duration:1800/0000

Tidefull out coming back in:

Weather:calm

Bait:rag mack

Rigs:1 hook flappers

Results:1lb 7oz 3 bearded rockling pouting whiting

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:Headed out for a local spot for a few hours weather was good first cast i caught a near pound and a half rockling not bad start but it died off i caught a few pouting and whiting aswell sam blanked with his new rod lol

Sweet Rockling Alan, maybe Ronald will be sweating now as his record looks like could be challanged this year :)

I haven't seen a 3 bearded down bangor way since christmas ,though to be fair I haven't fished it that much ,thats a nice fish Alan ,i might be tempted to give the pier a go this week and see if any turn up .

I followed your Bangor report thread with interest Ronald last year have ta say some smashing fish what's a specimen 3 bearded weigh? Hopefully ill get one some night :lol:

Ah well 5oz of a specimen but sure there's always next time a 3lb rockling would take some beating.

Yeah 1lb 12oz for specimen 3lb 1oz is the current record ,its possible ,i've heard of bigger fish lost on the surface and one being used for creel bait :evil:

A 3lb 1oz rocking is evil :lol: your spot at bangor gives up a few good specimens you never know they must have plenty to feed on round at Bangor.
