#1 Post by Hammerman »

Hello all newbie here.

Could any of you tell me what fish are around for fishing of the rocks in the Leenaun area as thinking of going tomorrow afternoon for the first time since last August.

Thanks :)

Yes Steve------just checking and i actually met you last year.

I was the English bloke asking questions and taking photo's last summer when you and Ray were at Scuba Dive West on the Beach Fishing one morning.

That's where i was thinking of going tomorrow.

Is there anything around??? :)

ha ha ha.. small world....

havent fished that area this year, but there have been thornback ray being caught not far away so i wouldn't see why they are not at little killary (on the far side of the rocks to the right of the beach).. fish baits work best this time of year..
species to hopefully expect would be dogfish, thornback ray, coalfish and anything else is a bonus
