Tide:going out

Weather:dry light winds

Bait:ragworm ,squid

Rigs:pulley rigs

Results:dogfish,whiting and pouting

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:we hit this spot after fishing are last fishing spot.
we throught we try this spot when the tide was going out.
merv caught biggest dogfish we try to measure on the stick put it was too big.

probably a doggie.

they get to some size round glenarm and there usually quite darkly coloured too
species so far 2007 (18....)
Conger, Codling, Coalfish, Shore Rockling, Dab, Flounder, Dogfish, 3 beard rocking, Pollack, Whiting, Pouting, Red cod, Poor Cod, Tadpole fish, Short and Long splined sea sculpin, TopKnot, Cukcoo Ray,

Targets: fish over 10lb, eel over 20lb (came VERY close almost :( )

It's a dog. You will very rarely get a dog to fit on a measuring stick. Even the small ones are nearly all too big. That's why on most competitions they are given a points rating rather than a true cm measure like the rest of the fish. Normally 45points allocated, but this can differ dependent on were the comp is.
