People:Me fishing, the girlfriend watchin.
Duration:4:30 - 10:00
Tide:I think HW was at about 7:30-8
Weather:Grand to start, slight S/SE breeze, then heavy rain
Bait:Lug, Mack, squid
Rigs:2 hook pats
Results:2 small whiting
Catch and Release:: Yep
Report: Started off on a beach nearer the golf course. I parked at the top of the dunes and walk down down a slip type thing. Was gettin nothing but empty hooks and wished i went to the place beside the house with the stream running down the beach. After an hour of darkness i got p'ed off and decided to move. Got to Beach (had sign ennereilly). Fished just to right of stream as u look out. Was getting bites but empty hooks on return. One bite the rod nearly bounced off the tripod. Nothing there tho. Tried casting different distances from 90yds- 20yards. Two small whiting was all i got. Beats Blanking. Herself took a photo of them. Three other straight in front on the car park had a few small ones ( they said). They left the beach in a state  . Bottles, bags, cartons everywhere. We're not all here to clean up after others!!!

better than balnking as you said.
pity about the litter, but unfortunately thats what happens when word gets out about a venue, especially close to dublin. its generous of people to share venues but when the masses hit there it can get very uncomfortable, ala howth in the summer

Was down that way Sunday... a stryofoam cold box was left in the carpark full of rubbish.
Looked like somebody went to the effort of collecting their rubbish(plastic, cans, sweet papers) putting it in cold box and then dumping in carpark!!
Anyway the lid that was beside the box bore the name Paul Mc
At one stage it contained 100 Lug, 3 Mus, 3 Raz,2 Mac.
Cost 60 Euro.
Looks bad ...no getting away from the fact an angler left it there!!

You may have started a new bin?
An honest mistake like that could happen to anyone. Least u went to the trouble of taking it off the beach (and owning up to leaving it, Fair play to ya). Wish everyone else had the same intension!

Nope didnt remove it.
Fair play for owning up ... thought it was strange that somebody went to the trouble of removing their rubbish from the beach and to leave in carpark.
