, even moreso than summer time. Started off on the seward side to the right but it was too cramped for me so fished on the inside facing the beach.One or two small whiting were caught but it was looking as if I was heading for a blank. Then the last half hour I seemed to find a patch with a good concentration of fish, the only bait they would take was whole sandeel. Caught 3 whiting and a coalie on the last 3 casts, all a decent size too
Used sickle/circle hooks for the second time with disapointing results, 3 deeply hooked fish and one spat the hook, luckily it was allready on the pier.
