Spinning in winter?

Thinking of going fishing sunday (Red rock) But only have about an hour so was thinking of spining.Is it wort my while? What would i catch?And what type of spiners would work best? :?

try a dexter wedge ive taken codling on them but fish sink and draw as close to the bottom as possible also a set of small sabikies size 4 hooks will take whiting again keeping the weight as close to the bottom as possible and a slow sink and draw

Where abouts is red rock? Wouldnt mind going spinning or flyfishing. Anyother marks around dublin or wicklow worth spinning from?

red rock is in sutton, i think its a bit early for the bass out there at the moment but the way things are going you never know. it is possible to fly fish here and theres good bass there too.

Was thinking of giving Red Rock a "spinning try" this Saturday. I suppose it's on the north side of Sutton? Can someone confirm this please? My map says it's a beach but is the bottom clean for diving lures? Cheers!
