Has any one fished garrettstown recently?
Im planning on fishing there tomorrow night and was wondering if there was much weed in the water?I might give it a miss if there is and head towards Clonakilty instead, much closer to home also.

If I were you I would leave Garretstown alone for another day or two till it settles down a bit. Its had a battering this past few days again. If you really want to give it a try, fish from halfway up towards the top end of the beach, for some reason this doesnt hold quite as much weed. Best of luck, although if you can keep a bait out there long enough I've had some cracking fish to razor in lumpy seas there.

Was in Dunworly yesterday evening and it was very rough, can imagine Garretstown was worse again.

Fished here tonight with phanover in near perfect conditions. Alas, my search for a 07 bass continues.... I finished with 10 coalies, biggest to just over 40cm or so, Paul blanked. Ho Hum.... I'd dearly love something other than a coalie....

Ah, so just a pair of buns then? Or baps??? :P
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
