Report: Decided to give the Breakwater a go and turned out to be a good night :)
Right from the first cast we were into fish with Gary drawing first blood with a small coalie on rag and mack followed by myself with a small codling before Ian decided to get in on the act and landed a double shot of doggies.
This then set the tone for the rest of the night with every cast getting a bite but not always ending with a successful hook up. The dogs snaffled virtually everything that was threw at them and there were a couple of doubles taken during the course of the evening.
For anyone who hasn't fished this venue there is a nice platform to fish from out over clean ground but the rocks and boulders at the front make it difficult to retrieve fish and traces. More ofter than not you were left with no option but to clamber down to get a trace and fish.
We fished till 10pm and even as we were packing up the fish were still biting. All in all a good nights sport in the month of February.
Met Lazy Angler on his way to Glenarm Beach and according to his report he appears to have had a similar night.
