There are enough there Marco TBH. On "friendlies" we try and keep the numbers down around 6/7. You definitely wouldnt want to be trying to fish a comp with more than 8 aboard.....nightmare stuff!

Put my name down. I'll bring a small tackle box so I won't take up much room.

Boat is full with 8/9.

If we get another 2or 3 I'll look at a second boat.

I'd suggest that people who are putting in their names for boat comps that they pay the boat fee inadvance. In the event that they can't make it the other anglers won't be burdened with the extra cost. They could always get another member to take their place and they would be refunder the boat fee after his money has been received.

It costs 350 euro for each boat.

So if we had 12 split across 2 boats it would be about 60 euro each,
10 would be 70.

First thing is there is a 3 hook rule and a treble counts as 3 hooks, so you may want to change the hook on your pirk to a single hook if you want hooks above the pirk.
You can gill using shads, but jellies seem to be more often used in Kilmore Quay.

Try and get some hokkais, shrimp rigs, muppets and red devils too..

I often tip shrimp rigs with bits of rag, mack or crab to pickout bits and pieces if fishing is slow- wrasse etc.

if you are organising a 2nd boat, put me down for it please (and possibly another person - although I'll have to confirm that as a friend of mine was talking about joining you and if he has he'd be up for it). One for definite, probably two......

Thanks.

When booking boats always make a point of getting at least 2 sickies.
