#1 Post by KenM »

Hey can anyone tell me where the expo will be on in swords this weekend coming? Is it somewhere near the airside business park?

Thanks

wasnt at the show today but from talken to a buddy that was it is mainly junk thats on offer, the reports iv been getting are poor, ok for the beginner of mackeral bashers but not really for serious anglers.

by the way southside anglers in dublin are no carrying a wide range of hiro products at a very very cheap price, for those that dont already know this is the stuff that practically won the world boat championships last year

a few good bargains to be had.. you just have to search through a lot of stuff to find them.. but they are there...

over heard alot of people saying that there was more coarse fishing stalls this year than in previous years..

plenty of mackerel bashing stuff too.. but the odd gem hidden too though..

well worth showing up even if its just to meet up with a few lads from the site..
it was good to catch up with a few familiar faces and meet a couple of new ones at the same time.. (see i'm not that mad in person)

I thought there was an overabundance of coarse stuff too.

Wasn't impressd by the prices either, but I wasn't shopping for anything in particular. I was interested in a Shimano F/S reel but I know I can get a better price by walking off the street into a tackle store.

I went to Bob Moss's talk ... that was worthwhile. He was talking about bait presentation, mainly for Bass angling. very good.

I was in the seats at Bob's talk. Was talking to alby afterwards. Maybe Bob repeated the talk and that's how I missed you. I was at the show from about 12 until 3.
