Cheers Lads, really enjoyed it, some of the codling & whiting were absouloute crackers, don't think I had a cast all night that didn't bring a fish, I'll deffo head down again to get another lesson on east coast beach fishing from ye!! The amount of species was great aswell, almost all "counters" mixed with the biggies - codling, whiting, flounder, rockling & dogs, not half bad for the slowest month of the year :D

Al, best flounder was 31cm, in prime condition. But most were in the 25 - 30 range.

Just back,I must've been in the wrong spot as all I was getting was doggies, they must've followed me down from Greystones!,got some small whiting aswell, better than nothing I suppose.Cheers and thanks for directions they were spot on,next time I'll go with you guys, was a bit nervous on that beach on me lonesome,as I dont know the area.Just fished to the right of the river btw, cracking looking spot though.
