Does anybody know when and where the jimmy smith is this year. On the Ifsa site it just says Gurteen. Any info greatly appreciated.

jimmy smith is on the 20th nov, on gurteen beach, roundstone, co.galway. check-in at community hall in roundstone between 12:00pm-3:00pm. fishing from 4:00pm-9:00pm. closing date for entries is 15th nov. entries to mr. fergie collins, stripe, furbo, co. galway. tel:091-592359.

thanks very much, what does that beach fish like. is it flats in close or doggies at distance? what traces and baits are the best to use?

coalfish, flats and whiting after dark. baits lug and rag. never seen a dog taken on this beach!!! rigs, standerd stuff but use very light snoods.

Thanks. Does anyone no the age limits for junior anglers is it under 18 or what :wink:
