grauvell HM surf 4500

had my eye on one for a while now, but only actually seen the first one yet there over the weekend, they look a good bit of kit especially with the competition tip.
does anyone have any experience with this rod? all info appreciatted
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

like yourself have only seen them fished and they do look great got to see most of the grauvell range this year in spain.

only other place is in the total fishing mag the 2 experts in mag fish this rod always see it in their hands

Just bought one (fixed spool) so give me a couple of weeks and I will give you some info. Alas I am no expert. I had a go with a similiar rod before and liked it so took a chance. Bought it in Viking tackle who are the Irish agents as far as I know.

yes pat viking tackle are the main agents of grauvelle the shop is always packed with there rods def look impressive the grauvelle gear does

Cant remember exactly as I bought bait and bits and pieces. I think it was around 225-250 including the match tip. The rod comes with a standard tip rated to cast up to 8 oz (but i dont feel it will really do this properly). You can buy the match tip seperately. give them a call and they will give you a price. Hope this helps, I intend to do a review after one more use which should be next week. I am hoping to have some new braid by then.
