Duration :4.5 hours 2.30 am-6.30am
Tide :fished 2 hours up and 2 down
Weather :perfect
Bait :fresh lug , lug wraps,squid,macki
Rigs :bombers and pullys
Results :11 cod ranging in sizes from 1.5lb - 3.5lb
Catch and Release: : Yes/No
i released mine but the four lads kept theirs
Report :best nights cod fishing iv had and the lads enjoyed it too all because we ended up in (jd's early bar at 7.30am and to be honest 36 hours with no sleep mixed with alcohol isnt good for da head ) :? !!!!!

sounds like good session myself dubrock and joe are headin back to same spot on friday night fingers Xed
were they takin mackerel or lug ?or both? was trying to figure out how much of each to bring :roll:

i was catching them on lug tipped with macki but noticed that when i put out straight macki i got nuthing so just stick with straight lug !!

What sort of distance were you catching them at?,thinking of heading down that way on Sat,would like to go Friday but can only pick up bait on the Saturday :x .

fish were only 20 yards out !! i found this out when i got a slight birds nest on my first cast and it only went that far !!, the fist fish hit me while i was still getting the birdie out .

ah a few bits had a few probs in dunlaoighre with some Idiot who had a sunken trawler pulled it up beside our boat at high tide ah ill explain some other time but here is a pic

yep a bit of damage to my boat but easily fixable the yaught was sunk by the trawler they pulled up the trawler right against the ropes of the yaught and trapped it when the tide came in it was on its side and the unievitable happenend
