If you do a search on carrigaholt, college strand and poulnasharry for posts these could all produce ray at this time of year. I've no information other than carrigaholt pier produced small ray febuary last year and there were a few ray caught in poulnasharry in our march competition but it was very localised. I won't be heading out that way until my nexts comp the first sunday in march.

species. bass,pollock,conger,withing,blue whiting,dogs,3b rockling,cod,coaley,dab,wrasse,SMOOTHIE,flounder,plaice,tope,red gurnard,blue shark,mackrel,fresh water eel,pouting,and a nice 6lb lobster,scad,huss,corkswin wrasse.
