People:63 i think

Duration:1-6pm

Tide:high at 2pm

Weather:nice to start, rain and cold came in evening

Bait:all sorts, mainly rag or lug tipped with mack

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:zone a - 1st Robin Fleming - NASA, 2nd Willie Weir EASSAC
zone b 1st Steve Hewitt - GADSAC, 2nd Myself- NASA
juniors 1st D O'Donnell - Culdaff SAC, 2nd Warren Brown - NASA
longest fish steve hewwitt - 39cm turbot

Catch and Release:: all catch ,measure and release



Report:all in all quite a poor days fishing with sea trout, flounder and turbot putting in appearances. surf was quite tame with litle run in the water for most of the match, perhaps not helping things greatly.

Fair play to you Phil for getting a zone placing. Not much in the way of flats then?
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout

Definately a hard days fishing, I had only 3 fish for my 5 hours fishing and wasn't even going to put in my card. :oops: It was the Codfather (Graham) who told me I would have been mad not to as he had heard that overall there was very little fish caught. :shock:

not much full stop pete, i had around 9-10 undersize flounder as well

9 to 10 undersize must have been heartbreaking :x What were you picking them up on?

all on rag tipped with mack for the small ones, crab worked for the bigger fish
