paul, its hard to know but i would guess that numbers of fish could be quite low if the forecast is anything to go by,but there were still turbot and flounder on it 2 weeks ago anyhow so heres hoping you guys make it up, i think a few from leinster are coming up for it as well as a few from yorkshire - guess that depends on the weather though.!

N&G, ill give you a shout if i see you up there, i seen you at the our stand at the kings hall the other weekend but turned around to do something and couldnt see you again! one of those days!!

hopefully will be a good turnout for it to bump the available penn points up.

Weather for the weekend looks like pants. Snow, Snow and more snow.

Might need a snow plough to get there!

Will it definately be on if it snows?

congrats to norfolke n goode who won this open today, 63 anglers i think it was.

results were done by 2 zones.
1st zone a robin fleming - NASA 4 fish
2nd zone a willie weir - EASSAC 3 fish

1st zone b steve hewitt (N&G) - GADSAC 3 fish (including longest fish - 39cm turbot)
2nd zone b me - NASA 3 fish

juniors 1st - d o'donnell - Culdaff SAC
juniors 2nd - warren brown - NASA

good to see a decent turnout for the time of year even though numbers of fish werent great, with around 5 leinster clubs represented along with the usual ulster contingent.
