Patches amd fleeces

#1 Post by croppyboy »

I was wondering if anyone on the comitee had plans to bring out patches or fleeces with the sac logo on them for members to buy

The reason i ask is that i was at the leinster 2nd leg and though i know there were some of our lads at the comp i didnt know any so i thought that a patch or fleece with logo would mean that it would be easier to find each other what do the lads think

Hi Croppy, we did try this a while ago and AFAIK the response was somewhat underwhelming and its been discontinued. There were a couple of ideas mentioned at the last boat meet from Courtmac though so watch this space.

I think I'd prefer a fleece to a patch, which you can't (shouldn't !) sew into waterproofs anyway. Maybe a hat too for this time of year, so when fleeces are covered you can still recognise members ...

To the best of my knowledge, I think we can get fleeces and poloshirts done quite cheaply if we dont over complicate things with massive logos etc. I think Mac is looking into this, I have a contact or two who sorts me out with cheap uniforms too that might be of interest.

Being famous

#11 Post by paul mason »

It must be great being famous and to be recognized for being a great angler. I have strived all my life up and down the country fishing everywhere entering competitions talking to everyone, running casting heats, running major opens winning my fair share, and nobody knows me.Ah well i guess fame is for the chosen few Stevecrow74
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!

I think the proper term is "infamy" where the Crow is involved!

re;being recognized, a full face balaclava and shades and a sign on your tripod stating you are a deaf mute fishing for weaver fish does the trick most of the time.
why not make yer own honestly needle craft is dissapearing quicker than COD!!!!!
