as anyone tried the rod in question...i am lookin for a new long rod and this has caught my eye....i also have the extreme titinium in 16' 8'' and wouldn't mind somethin similar.

have heard bad things on another forum. have not got my hands on one though. the blue metal is nice though!

Had the Blue Metal and The team Xtreme, both nice Rods Jonny, Red Metal price seems seriously O.T.T. IMO.

yeah i just seen the price tag for one and me thinks no chance at £290....i was also lookin at a longbeam but changed my mind after reading petes post about the sai compo at morriscastle
