For me, Primo Sychro - without a doubt. The Profile is getting some good reviews though.

What sort of fishing are you hoping to do with it?

Is it an all rounder you are looking for?

One for the beach only?
OR
One for the rocks?

Steve

I have the LT14, cracking rod for mixed to rough ground, a VMAX F2 for the beach and mixed ground and a powertex bass for the lighter end of the scale.

I also had a F5000 and a TF50/50. Couldn't get on with either but that's only MHO.

Mr G,

What Norfork is telling you there is a fact and happens a lot from model to model with Zziplex rods especially.
You really need to try as many as you can before you buy....some are very user friendly (like the Profile) others are meant for guys who have one agender in mind...be it distance or species or both.

Ask some of the guys on here to meet up with you, if they let you cast there rods it will give you much more idea than trying to go by specifications only.

Tom.

you should look at the primo syncro mate ,a very good all round rod for fishing and casting and deceptively powerful,if you dont like it then try the 4500hpm another fine rod both for close in and distance match fishing.cheers john
