Bought 2 Daiwa Emcast Advanced reels to go with my beachcasters and have used them a few times since and must admit they are a cracking good reel, they cast and retrieve really well, and also seem well built. And yes before anyone says they are supposed to be carp reels, but do a great job for the sea. But of course as with all reels only time will tell..
