just got one the other day and was putting line on tonight and the reel was clicking on retrieve, is this normal for this reel?
don't worry the first thing I did was check if the ratchet was on and it wasn't, besides the clicking was a soft sound.

More like a ticking?? That's on the slosh 20 too. Normal AFAIK.

noticed a thread about slosh reels and somebody noted they dont come with the brake blocks fitted when new (i have used my one the 30 for two years mainly for boat fishing )so i opened it up there are two clear small ones fitted and two red ones in the box .
the question is, do i need the red ones for casting ?and if so should the clear ones come off or will it slow the reel down too much if both are left on ? slosh casting virgin

your best of to try the red ones first as the they are heavier than the clear ones,,, and if you find your casting is grand keep them in and keep them in all the time for the boat as well it wont do any harm on the other hand try casting the clear ones,, but its a little more tricky and if they work keep em lol simple as that i hope
