recommend a nice bass rod
My bass rod is going into the tackle grave yard my tripod blew over about 3 times at the weekend slamming it into rocks 3 rings bust in the process needs ta be light for heavy spinning and good for fixed spools mostly cause some bass rods ive used didnt feel right when using a fixed spool but far better with the multiplier it needs to be rung for both

I'd recommend the BZe too. Great rod at a reasonable price. Comfortable to hold too.

Alannelson, give the codfather (Graham) a shout. He sells all the greys tackle from a small shop in Glenoe just outside Larne. Brilliant lad who really does know his stuff when it comes to sea angling. 8)
I get alot of stuff off him and his prices are far superior to those in England and no P&P to be added at the end. L&G tackle always carries a good selection of sea tackle of all sorts and is hard to beat. Shop is only open in the evenings so give the codfather a PM and he can give you the opening times and directions on how to get there. I know you will not be disappointed. 8)

bass rod
It is a Ron Thompson Azzure bass rod. The rings on it look wonderful but 3 have broken. However, I brought it back to Eddie Roe of Mikes Bikes and he put new inserts into the rings.
It is lovely light rod to hold and with the braid it has the right amount of give in it to handle a good fish.
