Flatfish
Is there anywhere around the North or Donegal coast that good sized Flounders or flatfish can be caught from the shore as i used to fish alot for them but there dont seem to be any good sized ones anymore. :wink:

strange you said that.. i tried to post earlier (but it wouldnt let me :( )that flatties tend to be a bit scarce this time of year as they move to deeper water to spawn. :)
you will still find the odd flattie out there but not in the numbers you see them through the rest of the year... i'd expect them back in the shallows from end of February... :D
