People:Myself

Duration:7.30pm-11pm

Tide:rising,full at 8.30ish and dropping

Weather:calm, cold and breezy

Bait:lug,squid,crab,razor

Rigs:1 up 1 down clipped, 2 hook flapper, 2 hook scratcher

Results:3 cod, 2 whiting, 2 flounder

Catch and Release:: Yes 2 all



Report:went out with 2 friends and had shed loads of bait...most fell 2 lug and crab cocktails... suprised 2 c the whiting and 2 a good size also..bout a lb... cod not 2 big same as the flounder...biggest be about 1 lb if ur lucky...final cast was a crack off... my shockleader smashed in2 the distance, rig n all..slan

went off the peir this time...tryin 2 catch the cod on the way back in with the tide.... nice size whiting..bout a pound..

Hi

Anyone know if they have completed the sewage works - I presume they have by now, the last time I was down there the "beach" was unfishable owing to the unmentionable! :D RSVP

i think so...we were goin 2 fish that instead of pier, we just changed our minds...they had done a lot of work in and around tramore 2 rectify that problem i think...
