people me and bother jim

duration 11.00- 15.30 hrs

Tide incoming

Weather Light winds Rain 15.00

Bait Rag and mackerel

Rigs pully with lead lift and 2 hooked Flappers

Results 5 Coalfish

Catch and realease? yes

Fish this spot left of P.V.M on Chain mem Road. Beach full of kelp lead lifts(required) 2 get over.

Things Started slow 1 Coalfish caught about by jim.

Then things picked up about 13.00hrs as it was high tide. Took 3 coalfish in quick Succession. Then Jim took 1. All fell 2 Ragworm and Mackerel tip.

Then packed up and left because of Rain.

where you fishing over at the tower plaice ? not bad sized coalfish how far out were casting? have you tried fishing over at the right hand side of the tower at the lights near the ferries :)

always nice to get a coalie or two this time of year,just a wee hint that i have found myself - if you turn the lead lifts the other way around the should work better for you and give you more lift...
