Great rough ground rod. There's nothing around our coast that this rod could not deal with. It's an absolute beast of a rod, but IMO balanced and fairly light into the bargain. Wouldn't say it was a beach rod though, very much over gunned. Definately will not fold up in a big sea either.
I find you need to be throwing at least 6ozs and even up to 8ozs to really get it to bend.. Boy can she send a lead some distance, even for me!
