South shore had a competition arranged for Kaats strand yesterday but we were unable to fish it because there was too much fresh water running down the slaney. We changed it to Ardcavan to the right of the bird santuary. Fishing was not to bad considering the reports we got from the previous week. The winner Eoghan Duff had 9 flounders. section 1. Keith Keane 9 flounders. 2nd Stephen Brennan 8 flounders 3rd Paul Mason 7 flounders. Best junior was Alex Holmes 3 flounders. The longest flat went to PaulOKelly with a good 41cm. flounder.
