Calamari Squid

Hey All,

Got a box of these little squid the other day - just wondering what is the best way to bait these up/presentation?? Best rig to use them on ??

use a pennel rig mate,bait will be presented better,and no matter what way a fish takes it ,it will get hooked.cheers john

was it in cork angling and tackle you got them.been meaning to go and get a box
shore species 2008(25):dogfish(3.1lbs), bull huss (12lb 2oz), bass, shore rockling, coalie, whiting, pollack, conger (22.4lbs),flounder, thick lipped mullet (4.8lbs),turbot,ling (11.2lbs),ballan wrasse(4.5lbs), cuckoo wrasse, pouting, poor cod, cod (9.5lbs), dab, 3 bearded rockling, long spined scorpion fish, corkwing wrasse, plaice, trigger fish, sea trout, garfish

yep thats them - had a pile of them in the freezer (well stocked I have to say) :)

Never used em before :oops: - whats likely to take???

squid is very good for tipping of baits like mack and lug.. especially worm baits cause it stops the worm falling of the hook

if you take the head and cartilage out of them and pack them like a sausage with lug or mussel its ment to be good, stick it on a pennel.
