CRH pier outside Arklow

#1 Post by kieran »

Hi

Does anyone fish off the pier at the old CRH quarry outside Arklow or is access prohibited? Just the "herrin chokers" bit reminded me of it!

Thanks
Kieran Hanrahan

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

As far as I know there is no access to this venue anymore because , go on have a guess, stupid filthy lager louts( Iwont call them anglers) fu**** it up. The beach still holds a good selection of fish both winter and summer, and it is very handy to fish no walking involved.
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!
