Flounder spawning

From what I've noticed the bigger fish seem to move away in mid Jan before showing again, very thin though, in early April. Anybody else notice any differences on their own patch?

ye i have noticed this before i remember catching a flounder and it was nearly a bag of bones

if you where doing what they are and for that long you would be a bag of bones.lol

stop i wouldnt like to be a male flouder at that time of year one of the flounder ladies might mistake your end takle for a lug worm and try to eat it.

i think it tends to be february here.....some of the biggest flounder of the year show in january up here on the beaches

Thats pretty much what I've noticed too Phil, wonder is it the same on the east or south coasts :?:
