A Codling and a Coalfish both caught at Garryvoe Beach this evening. They were part of a total of 6 fish, 3 codling and 3 coalies. Codling all took razor and lug baits, pennel mounted and fished at range. Coalies were specifically targetted with 2/3 hook rigs to size 2s and strips of mackerel tipped off with squid fished around 50 yards.

Well Done Lads,

Looks like this species race has given people a good excuse to get some fishing in. I'm looking forward to the first Wrasse already :D

Keep it up lads,
