People:me and big Liam

Duration:5 hours

Tide: going out

Weather: clam

Bait: rag mackerel squid

Rigs:2 hook pats and pulley rigs

Results:blanked

Catch and Release:: No bloody fish to release

Report: me and Liam went out for a days fishing on Saturday to see if we could maybe do some rock fishing in the red bay area but it wasn't to be it was blowing hard up there we did pass glenarm on the way up and we went back to fish there not one bloody fish in 5 hours it was shite

i am thinking of going fly fishing on a trout fishery next week so that i can get a fish i had one dogfish at glenarm breakwater on Friday night that was it relay crap

what time of the day were you guys fishing it?
its similar to carnlough, doesnt fish well during daylight this time of year, but should have been piles of fish (though small) at dark on it

theres your answer for the poor catches!
also if you go down to the likes of size 4 hooks on this venue with the addition of a couple of small glow in the dark beadsabove them, it will help catches
lug and mackerel baits work well, as does rag and squid

would be best if the tide was coming in and at night

lots of weed at the carpark

i see why people fish at the cop shop
