mine would be catching my 31.7lb cod on mini rod in Norway, and breaking 3 PB`s while over there.oh and the 3 new species :)
at home it would be catching a 8lb pollack from the shore and getting my first mullet, then going on to catch 7 more proving it wasn`t a fluke(not in one session)

Hi,

Mine was a beach session here in Kerry fishing two rods for Tope one evening way back in May. After 3 consecutive days of blanking (and I mean days...long days) beached a 36lber (new PB at the time) and just as I did the other rod went off with a 38 1/2lber hanging off the end of that one! What was even more incredible was that both were huge males... Bust my PB twice inside of 10 mins! Remember being like a lump of jelly on the beach that evening - happy days :-) :-) :-)

double figure thornie from the shore,

new p.b. dab,flounder,wrasse.

new species:turbot,coalies,ling,shore rockling,red gurnard.

best session:a couple of trips to a kerry beach where we were catching turbot to 25cm,big flounders and a few bass thrown in for good measure!

failing that wrassing,or getting double shots of ray and pup tope on pennels in kilteery in late summer.
