trips abroad?

#1 Post by kieran »

Hi all

I've been approached about acting as the agent in Ireland for a large German company that specialises in angling trips all around the world including all the usual suspects... Norway, Egypt, Kenya, Alaska...

Since all the flights are ex Frankfurt I am not sure on prices etc. but I was just wondering how many people have an interest in this?

There would be a small commission for me for handling all the admin. at this end but that is about it...

Any help appreciated, cheers

any competition for anglers world would be good ,the amount they skim of on charter boat trips in norway is scary .

There is one good comp out there already..... Gambia, good fishing, good craic and not too expensive. Having said that the Competition itself can be a tad expensive.

I'm one of these people that is also a bit scepitical about arranged fishing trips as some prices tend to be unreal. If there are some good prices out there I am always interested. Would love to get a few of the SAI boys to some country for a bit of fishing.

Jeez kieran, do you really need all the hassle for just a small commission?

Still, big oaks from small acorns kinda thing, might be worth a go....

and apparently my Mrs has banned angling holidays. She never said anything about that before we married.

Well, that's the whole point of this post!

It is a small commission, around 5% I think, although if you got a little bit from each of a group, then I guess it works out as something...

Might be a first of many strings on a fishing bow!
