People: Myself and a mate

Duration: 7-9

Tide: lw 7

Weather: rain and a good sw blow

Bait: fresh lug squid and razor

Rigs:

Results: 8 codling to about 2lbs

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:
Too windy too fish any beach around headed into youghal to try for Cod. Started a low water not to optimistic :( . bites straight away all the bites were on lug tipped with razor :lol: :lol: . mate tried lug and squid on there ownno joy :oops: . changed to lug tipped with razor it worked :D . Fished for two hours plenty of action. Then it went dead :x :x
Anyway all news to me did not expect the estuary to fish at low water
anyone else fish it at low water :?:

ferrypoint/youghal always fishes best around l.w. once the tide starts to flood the fish become more dispersed.

Hi Cortaz

Yea semms to be good at low water fished again tonight, same result as the other night but this time all around a pound, but about half way up after it got quite we changed spots. About 2 hours before high water they started to take again had four fish 2-5lbs
