East Wexford Beaches

#1 Post by jd »

I have to drive down to Wexford on Friday night, and drive back to Dublin on saturday. Are any of the east coast Wexford beaches worth stopping off for a few hours or so?

Haven't been fishing since October (:x :x :x :x) for various reasons, mainly work, so I can't vouch for anywhere in my area.

Would say the tides don't look good for Courtown:

Maybe try the usual suspects? Ballyvaldon or Roney. There were a few decent reports from there recently.

Hi Ya John,

Heard they are fishing terrible because of the south westerlys, the water is full of sand and this is irratating the fishes gill and pushing them offshore

Very thin on the ground, i've heard that from a few people, although aparently south wexford and waterford are fishing brilliantly with the onshore blow.
