#1 Post by pookie5488 »

I am not talking rods and reels or even flotation suits.

But if there was one bit of kit you would hate to loose or forget what is it. and why

Being predominantly a glasses wearer I gotta say contact lenses. For those sand rain and spray carrying windy days you cannot beat them. Yeah, youll come off the beach with a lovely pair of red eyes and full of gritty bits but you wont have missed a thing.....

jaysus ya, they're so taken for granted i forgot all about them. there is nothing worse than being partially blinded due to your glasses caking with salt and spray.

Bait elastic is an extremely close second.

the most important item when you go fishing has to be the bait.

Spare batteries/bulbs for lights so you don't find yourself tackling a fish or packing up in the dark ...

Scales and camera are a must ,at least then you know correct weight ,and a camera to record the fish .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
