dec meet waterfoot

#1 Post by pookie5488 »

members.... me, costa, round ourway, lazy cod, biglaim, merv147

place.....waterfoot

weather.... wind ,rain, hail and more wind rain and hail.

Bait... rag,lug squid and mackrel and some lazylug

tide.. rising (hw 01.00)

Fish... everyone took pollock, rockling, whiting and cod some flatties

All returned.

Everyone iam sure will post thier own catch list.

A big thank you goes to Lazy cod who realy knows his stuff thank you for the tips and they really work too. Seems this man can put you on fish even in a car park which helps when night slow.

Night started on the beach and the weed was pretty bad so moved of to the pier. I am not a big fan of waterfoot but the craic was good so was a good trip all the same.

Look forward to the next meet.

Just saw we missed a few people that arrived on the beach hate that so sorry lads hope you got a good fish were ever you ended up.

Thanks lads for a great night, apologies to any one we missed but the weed on the beach was hectic so we had to move to the pier, I thought the coalies were great crack and not a bad size either I lost count after 6 ,strange you never mentioned the three pound bass I got pookie I was only joking about keeping it quiet.  Looks like Drew and Hairy missed a good night. I am looking forward to the next meet which I hope to organize over the Christmas's break and more than likely in daylight hours..Cheers lads...Lazy

Was the Bass 'true bill' or are you lads only winding?

I have seen a decent Bass in Red Bay already this year but it was a fiar bit away from the pier...
