People:me

Duration:18.15 till 21.15

Tide:high 20.40

Weather:very wet and windy

Bait:rag, mack, sandeel

Rigs:running ledger, 2 hook clipped down

Results:7 dogs

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Fished ny favourite spot last night. The weather was awfull, but like a fool i tried it anyway. Got 7 dogs with all baits working for a change. It got far to rough at high tide with the water coming round me so had to pack it in. I also fished this same spot on Wed and Fri with Dogs, Whiting and 1 Dab all coming my way. Has been an excellent week. Alos some of the dogs this week have been tiny, they must just have been born recently. Cheers

Yeah youre right about " we will all be there". It happens more than you think, word got about earlier about a good fish caught from this spot and you could not move with the people that turned up. Its not that i wont tell the regular posters of this site where i fish its the other few hundred that read the posts and dont take part. So sorry to those who dont like it, but i do post just to let people know there are fish out there along the Down coast.

Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.

Went to this spot today again about 11am and fished till 3pm and got a nice 3+lb coalie on some mack. No other bites the rest of the session though. Was also using sandeel and squid. high tide was about 2pm. Very cold and breezy, but at least the sun was out.
