Conger in waterford???

cam any1 suggest good marks round waterford for conger...ive been 2 goat starnd and tramore pier.... im thinkin dunmore harbour...is thier conger here?

few of us fished dumore east in september and never had any congor takes, lots of crabs and loads of small whiting and coalies nibble the bait to nothing. the place looks the part but, we fished the main pier at the main parking spot 3 seperate nights no sucess. ballycottons the best congor place i ever fished if you can travel that far mate but you will have to restrain yourself from the flathead foreigners killing everything they catch.

Jim O Brien from Waterford told me Helvic pier is the best venue for conger in Waterford

Agree with Neilus - head for Helvic pier - saw a 10 year old land one a few weeks back :shock: :shock: - just drop it straight down the pier wall - inside seems best??
