Rathmullan Peir!
Lads anyone know anything about this peir what species range the sppecies can be found on it in the spring summer time. surely if you can throw lead far enough you wouldnt be too far from the tope?
Now i know theres millions of pollack under the legs of the peir but what can you expect to catch when casting seawords?
Any help would be gretaly appreciated

thats the side the ferry comes in aint it fished there a couple of times as there was no room at the front but got annoyed with speed boats all the time and the ferry coming in its very busy wee place in summer to busy for my liking but it certainley does produce mite b worth a throw at nite time when the tides coming in would definately b a lot quieter

You'll not cast to them Hairy unless your fit to push the 3 mile mark! They run up river from there so without question they pass through so if you put in the time you'd hook one sooner or later.

oh their there alrite hairy just the tope run in the swilly can b short and sweet there is a couple of deep channels up that side. best chance is at nite with a bloody big bag of rubby dubby ived tried it in a couple of places from the side never got tope but the thornbacks never stopped would be some achievement taking one off the side down there be very funny watching 70 80 yards of line being stripped off your reel and u being able to do nothing but grin!! :D :D
