Photos

Hi all,
I am a complete computer no hoper and i've only just plucked up the courage to ask how come i can never see the photos even though i see the attachment?
if anyone can help please do as i'm forever jealous of people sayin nice fish (to usually cortaz!) and im like what bl**din fish??!!!

Well, give us a clue....

Can you see any images on any site on the internet?
What Operating System and Web Browser are you using?

Interesting one that.
JD would confirm, but it looks like if you're not logged in you don't see pictures. Had the same thing on the brother's pc recently. He used never log in and could not see pictures.

i had the same problem for a long time.. ended up being firewall settings combined with browser settings...

cant for the life of me remember what i did to get it working.. but if it comes back to me i'll put it up :) :)

I remember there was an issue somewhere with a personal firewall/av suite blocking out images because it thought they were ads (ads have fairly standard sizes).

I just made sure i was logged on now, but i still cant see them.
I just see jpeg at the top, and image size and how many times viewed underneath.
And the courser doesn't change when i move it around for me to click into something if that makes sense.....????

If you are using internet explorer, go to the tools menu, scroll down to internet options, pick out the advanced tab from the top, scroll down to multimedia and check that 'show pictures' is ticked.
If its not that, try disabling your firewall just to test it.
