Yeah i have the outasite rod with the 525 supermag, i got the combo deal from gerrys and i've never had any problems with it (yet..). Its value for money and nearly always gets a good review, theres a nice feel to it also although I'm no master angler,
For what its worth,

is it a stiff enough action on it. I had a feel of one there and it seems like its a solid rod.

I've got the Outasite and think it's great rod for the money good bite detection, very comfortable to use and has a good casting range.I've cast a plain lead over 160yrds with this rod and it still has a lot more distance to offer (the only thing holding it back is me )

If you can get yourself to one of the Ulster Casting Club meets you are more than welcome to have a go with mine before you commit.

Have the outtasite here too with the supermag 525.
Its taken a while to get used to but its gets better and better. As Jonny says, the only thing holding it back is me.
I wouldnt call it very light especially if ya like to hold the rod but its manageable. On the stiff side also.
Seems to favour 6oz leads casting wise with me.

Hello,

I have 1 too and use it with a Mag 525, excellent Rod that will handle the rough stuff if needed. Throughly recommend it, really nice rod and well finished.
