a friend of mine uses 50lb cormon (think thats how you spell it) and has no problems with it. did hav problems retrieving it but i was able ta give him some leuko tape (its a very adhesive and resistant medical tape that conformes quite well to the contours of your hands) this seemed to stop any problems he had.

While I was talking to Jim in Cork Angling about braid he said a lot of people were using golf gloves to stop it cutting into their fingers/thumbs. Just keep the fingers of the glove that you need ie. fore-finger for a FS or thumb for a multi, cut off the rest for handling bait etc.

you may also need the 2nd finger for spooling line when your retrieving, especially over sand as m.b3 said. it tends to dig into the joint lines of your fingers.

Never used a multi so I was only guessing at what you would need to keep. :D

i have used flyers on braid, you need a bit more weight to get it to slide than mono, i use a half filled bubble float
